Sic Bo is a dice game played with three dice in a covered shaker or a rolling device. The betting layout looks crowded, but each bet reduces to a simple question about three numbers. This guide breaks the layout into categories, shows why payouts are what they are, and lists what to read in the GT99 live lobby before betting.
The dice and the layout
Three dice produce totals between three and eighteen. The betting layout shows these totals, single numbers, pairs of numbers, and the categories Small and Big. The extreme totals of three and eighteen can only occur in one way each (all ones or all sixes), so they pay the most. The middle totals of ten and eleven occur far more often, so they pay the least.
That is the entire logic of payout tables: rarity sets reward. If you see a bet with a high payout, it is because few of the 216 equally likely dice combinations satisfy it.
Bet categories
The common ones are listed here.
| Bet | Wins when | Hit frequency | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | Total four to ten, no triple | Just under half | Loses on any triple |
| Big | Total eleven to seventeen, no triple | Just under half | Loses on any triple |
| Single number | Number appears on at least one die | Fairly often | Pays more with multiple matches |
| Specific total | Dice add to chosen total | Varies | Rarer totals pay more |
| Specific triple | All three dice show the chosen number | Very rare | Highest payout |
Why Small and Big have an edge
Without a rule, Small and Big would be close to even. The edge appears because a triple, which would otherwise make a Small or Big win, counts as a loss for both. That removes six of 216 outcomes from each side. You can verify this by listing the outcomes, which is a good exercise for anyone who likes checking arithmetic.
Choosing bets
Single-number and Small/Big bets give the lowest edge in the game. Specific totals and triples carry a higher edge in exchange for larger payouts. If you combine many bets in a round, your stake per round rises quickly, so total the amount before confirming.
- Count the total of all bets placed in a round.
- Compare it with one tenth of your session budget.
- Remove the highest-edge bets first if it is too large.

Checking the round result
After the dice settle, the screen highlights winning bets and shows the total. If your balance does not match what you expected, open the round history and compare each bet with the dice shown. Most disputes come from a missed rule, such as the triple clause on Small and Big, rather than from any fault in the game.
